Promoting health & wellbeing in disenfranchised communities & geographical locations

The McClay Foundation is involved in a number of local and international initiatives to advance health and wellbeing.

The following project is partnering with Asha.

Right now, India is in the midst of a COVID-19 crisis. In one 24-hour period (24-25 April), 350,000 cases were recorded in India with 25,000 of those cases in Delhi, making it the hardest hit city. There is an enormous shortage of vaccines in the country.

There are no beds to accommodate the hundreds of thousands of patients in desperate need, some of whom are waiting in ambulances for space to become available. Inside the hospitals, there is a serious shortage of oxygen, and people are dying.
